Your pre-op appointment will cover everything you need to know in detail. In general: follow all fasting instructions, wear comfortable loose clothing, arrange for a trusted adult to drive you home and stay with you the first night, and leave jewelry and valuables at home. We will handle everything else.
Can someone stay with me during my procedure?
Your person is welcome to wait nearby and will be kept informed throughout. We treat the people you bring with the same warmth we give you. Your care team will provide specific details about where your person can wait based on the facility your procedure takes place in.
What if I feel nervous on surgery day?
